Building Tools
Overview
Holepunch provides a suite of tools for building, bundling, and deploying P2P apps across platforms. Centered around Pear (bundler/runtime) and Bare (JS engine).
Key Tools
- Pear CLI:
pear init/release/run– app scaffolding, hot updates. - Bare Build:
bare-build,bare-bundlefor native binaries. - CMake Ports:
cmake-pear,cmake-bare,cmake-drivefor C++/native integrations. - Prebuilds:
prebuild-containers,chromium-prebuildsfor deps.
Workflow
git clone app
pear init
pear run dev
pear release --platform android
